Drug serialization using PharmaliZr
The PharmaliZr system verifies the authenticity of a medicine between its distribution and effective dispensing to a patient. The PharmaliZr system reads the unique identifier on each medicine box in the form of a datamatrix and queries the central database which includes all European box codes. The datamatrix code scanned using a scanner or PDA is compared with those recorded in the central database to verify if the medicine is authentic or if it is a falsified medicine.
The PharmaliZr solution is certified by the NMVO (National Medicines Verification Organisation) as compliant with the application of European Directive 2011/62/EU.
